Students interested in enrollment at Mt. Sierra College may apply year round, and begin courses in the fall, winter, spring and summer quarters. Applicants must be high school graduates, or have an equivalent, and admissions to the school is based solely on the review of transcripts from one's previous school.

Financial aid is available in the form of loans, grants, scholarships and work study programs. Students will be asked to complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which will be used to determine need, eligibility and awards. Students may also be asked to complete additional applications or provide additional documents as needed by the school to review information and disburse funds.
