Pittsburgh Technical College, formerly known as Pittsburgh Technical Institute, is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and was founded in 1946. The school is dedicated to providing career and technical education for students in the Pittsburgh area through its two campuses or through its online program. The institute serves over 2000 students annually and is dedicated to providing a hands on approach to education in high demand fields. PTC is a two year, privately owned post-secondary institution.
Academics
Pittsburgh Technical College provides various programs of study in high demand fields, allowing students to pursue which career is right for them. Students enrolled in one of these programs will have both hands on and classroom education experiences, many of which are augmented through internship programs established through the school. Graduates will receive a certificate or associate degree upon completion, with programs taking between one and two years to complete.
