Rockford Career College, located in Rockford, Illinois, has been in operation for over 150 years. The school is a private, two year institution that provides career training and education in a number of high demand fields. The main objective of the school is to prepare the student for entry into the workforce as quickly as possible. The school is dedicated to providing a quality education for its students, utilizing a variety of services to assist in job development and placement for graduates, and a qualified faculty and facilities for current and future students.

Academics

Rockford Career College offers 25 programs of study in one of four fields, which are business administration and accounting, information technology, paralegal, and health occupations. Programs take up to two years to complete and result in an associate degree or certificate. The final semester of each program will include an externship program necessary for graduation that also allows for the development of work experience and practical skills.

Admissions and Financial Aid

Students interested in enrollment at Rockford Career College should submit an application for admission and supply all pertinent transcripts and test scores. Students may also be required to take a placement exam prior to enrollment. Students may also speak with a representative to discuss program enrollment and curriculum. The school also offers job placement services for graduates. Financial aid is available in the form of loans and grants which are awarded based on need. Students in need of assistance must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), the information from which is used to determine aid program eligibility and the extent of the students aid needs. Financial aid must be applied for prior to each academic year.
