Flag Review - Rating:
- They treat their students very poorly. I was a going to the avondale campus and needed help finding grants and loans. The finincial aid keep sending me bills i could not pay and would not work with me at all! In the end i had to drop out and pay for the rest of the school even though i only completed 10 classes of the 16. Im now back in the military and am much happier. Big mistake, do not make the same one i did...

- This school will teach you a little. They say its 50/50 classroom lectures to hands on in the shop but its not even close. They don't even teach you how to take a transmission out of a car. Student services is always helpful but every other department is slow and can never seem to help you out in a timely manner. You get treated like a kid...you have to sign out to use the restroom and they time you to make sure your not gone longer than 10 minutes or they will doc you on your professionalism grade and attendance grade. They don't even have enough coarse work for you to do to keep you busy during the 6 hour day at UTI...most of the time you just sit there and wait for the bell to ring while you are bored out of your mind. On a lighter note most of the teachers are very knowledgeable and always willing to take the extra time to explain something if you don't get it the first time. However i wouldn't recommend anybody spend $33,000 on this school for a degree that isn't really accepted by anybody.
