About

Front Range Community College, located in Westminster, Colorado, is the first and largest community college established by the State Board of Community Colleges and Occupational Education. Originally the north campus of the Community College of Denver, in 1968 the campus was renamed and established as a separate entity by the state board. Over the years the school has expanded its campus, classes and service. FRCC became one of the first schools in Colorado to offer online education. Enrollment has grown very quickly requiring FRCC to expand the campus and open satellite locations in nearby area.

 

Academics

Front Range Community College offers individuals a variety of programs that range from assicate transfer degrees to career certificates. Students will enroll in the programs that best suit their needs and goals, FRCC will assist in determining which path is right for the individual student be it transferring to a four year institution or entering to a vocation/occupational program and learning the skills needed to operate effectively in that field.

Admissions and Financial Aid

FRCC maintains an open enrollment policy that guarantees entry into the college as long as the student is at least 17 years of age. Applications can be completed online or printed then the submitted via mail to the school. Financial Aid is available to eligible students. To begin the process of determining eligibility students should visit the financial aid office and meet with a counselor.
