About
Brevard Community College, located in Cocoa, Florida, is a two year public institution founded in 1960. Initially known as Brevard Junior College, the school merged with Carver Junior College, a nearby public 2 year college that provided education to African-American residents, in 1963. The school moved to its present location shortly after the merger and has been providing country residents with quality education through its four campuses ever since.
Academics
Brevard Community College offers vocation, technical, and transfer programs. Students wishing to enter the workforce with the skills necessary to perform successfully in their chosen career can enter a vocational program. Students who wish to transfer to a four year institution will enter an associate program either for general education or with a specific major in mind.
