About
Ogden-Weber Applied Technical College was founded in 1971 in Ogden, UT. The school is the largest of the eight regional campuses that comprise the Utah College of Applied Technology (UCAT). The school offers over fifty programs in five fields. OWATC serves high school students and adults, offering a low cost, high quality educations that prepares individuals for a future career.
Academics
OWATC utilizes a competency based education system that asks the student to learn and demonstrate skills before moving on to another class rather than establishing a predetermined amount of time. Student attending OWATC will work with teachers to advance, and with counselors to guide their education toward their chosen career.

Admissions and Financial Aid
Students interested in enrolling will have to go to the admissions office. The school has a year round open enrollment policy. High school student must provide their transcripts. Though most programs do not have a set start date and can be begun at any time, some, such as the cosmetology program do. Program start dates are available online.
Students interested in financial aid may visit the financial aid office to discuss procedures and possibilities with the school's counselors.
