- Brown Mackie...Oh where should I begin? I started the PN program in 2007 and when I had 4 classes left, I had some family problems ( parent's kidneys shut down and had to start dialysis) in result I wanted to drop and start back when everything was better. I went to the dean and talked with them about my issue. This is what he told me "Everyone has issues with their personal life, here is what you need to do, You need to come in every month and sign in, so you will not mess up your fianacial aide." Being a dean telling me this, I thought he knew what he was talking about. Well I signed in every month for 4 months. I was not thinking....I was paying for those classes I never went too! When I went to go back, they wouldn't let me go back because I had failed a class more than 3 times. I failed a class that I never sat in! So having 4 classes left and spent over 20,000.00 and no one will take my credits, I am screwed. I now have to start over at a different college from scratch. I do not recommend anyone going there.
