- TO PROVIDE THE ARK-LA-TEX BUSINESS COMMUNITY WITH COMPETENT, PROFESSIONALLY TRAINED AND KNOWLEDGEABLE INDIVIDUALS IN SELECTED TECHNICAL CAREER FIELD OPENINGS THAT EXIST IN THE REGION. TO HIRE HIGHLY QUALIFIED PROFESSIONALS TO INSTRUCT REQUISITE COURSES, FILLING THE VOID WHICH OCCURS AT THE POST HIGH SCHOOL VOCATIONAL LEVEL. TO CREATE A LEARNING ENVIRONMENT THAT IS CONDUCIVE TO THE FREE FLOW OF IDEAS BETWEEN TEACHERS AND STUDENTS, ENABLING THE STUDENTS TO LEARN MORE THATN JUST THE TECHNICAL BASICS OF THEIR CHOSEN TRADE.
