About
The Louisiana State University was founded in 1964 as part of a state legislation that also approved the founding of LSU Shreveport. LSUE is dedicated to providing the best education possible to its students. LSUE offers support and assistants to help students achieve academic, personal, career and employment success.
Academics
LSUE is a two year institution offering transfer and career oriented programs. Graduates will receive an associate's degree, certificate, or diploma depending on the program completed. Graduates of vocational and career programs will have the education and skills necessary to find and maintain work, while transfer students will be able to pursue their degrees at for year institutions and beyond.
