  • NAA is a glorified day care. You spend around 30,000 to be babysat by an instructor with the occasional note packet thrown in. Throughout most of the classes, you spend about 6 hours out of 8 (monday through friday) doing self study or just nothing at all. The classes where you do do something, everything is rushed because you have no time. Then come the make up policy. You pay on top of tuition to make up any hours missed. The major problem with that is they give you 100 hours on top of the minimum required, which could be considered leeway hours. Instead they make you pay twice for hours that are not required. Most of the administrative faculty have no knowledge of aviation in any way and disrespect the students often. Few of the instructors show adequate knowledge of the subject they are teaching. The school is a waste of time and money.

  • I recently enrolled in this school... They are very unprofessional and unorganized with their customer service practices. When they are enrolling you, you can literally see the $$ signs in their eyes knowing you will pay them and there is no job opportunity after graduation. Just a $32,000 debt. Also, their training equipment is old and the graduate rate is low. Customer Service is HORRIBLE.

  • I also attended this school and graduated. This school was bought out 2 times within 30 years. It was known as East coast aerotech during the golden days then Wyotech (a car school) brought it out, which partly screw the place since they didn't know must other than what similarities are the same then NAA bought it out. Both the Dean and the owner of the NAA empire have no aviation experience other than maybe being a passenger on one and use another person to address technical problems. When i was there, you have to take 3 finals for your official A

  • I attended this school and graduated with a 99% GPA. All the comments about the for-profit school only caring about money is true. The school charges $30, 500 per student and puts 55-58 students per 1 instructor. I have military aviation training and couldn't believe what some of the instructors were telling us to do. Unsafe practices all day. Bad information too. AGED training engines. 7 aircraft at the hangar and not 1 is even close to air worthy.
