Students interested in academic transfer will complete the first two years of a four year education at Quinsigamond Community College, followed by applying for transfer to a four year institution to pursue the completion of their bachelor's degree. Students applying to University of Massachusetts Amherst or Worcester State University will be eligible for guaranteed enrollment through agreements in place in the school.  Students wishing to apply to out of state or private institutions may wish to meet with a counselor to outline a curriculum that best meets the criterion of the desired school or schools.

Students in enrolled in such a program will take courses that offer theoretical and practical experience, allowing students to implement methods and techniques learned in a controlled setting in order to master them prior to using them in a work setting. Programs typically take between one and two years to complete and result in a certificate or degree that allows for pursuit of entry level positions upon completion.

Programs offered include:

Admissions and Financial Aid

Quinsigamond Community College is an open enrollment institution that allows any student that meets the minimum requirements for admission to enroll by completing the application and paying all associated fees and tuition. Students enrolling at QCC should also provide transcripts and standardized test scores. And the absence of one or both may require the student to take a placement exam prior to registration. Students are encouraged to participate in orientation as it provides useful information for beginning one's campus life, and students should also consider making an appointment with a counselor to discuss program enrollment and curriculum.

Financial aid is available in the form of loans, grants and scholarships. Students in need of financial assistance must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), the information provided from which is used by QCC to determine the student's financial need and aid program eligibility when compiling their aid packet. Financial aid must be reapplied for prior to the start of each academic year and students may be chosen at random by the school to supply additional tax information in order to compare to the student's FAFSA to verify its accuracy as per new federal regulations governing the disbursement of funds.
