- I truly enjoyed my experience at Michigan College of Beauty and feel like I made an excellent choice. If I had to do it all over again I wouldn't change a thing. The training I received was fantastic and I had multiple job offers upon graduation. It was a fantastic experience and I can't recommend it more highly.

- Do not come here expecting a college atmosphere. Emphasis on passing state boards and not much of anything else. You will get an basic knowledge but don't expect much beyond that. Instructors are quick to just do the work for you instead of teach you how to do it correctly. If you didn't learn it the first time thru in class, you better hope you can watch a video and pick up on it on your own time. A large lack of accountability on getting your book work done (non of mine was ever requested to be turned in for grading) and there is no actual placement program for once you are done with your classes. It is a bulletin board of ads from various businesses that are looking for licensed workers. Oh and the library is really just a rolling cabinet with books in it. Not an actual room that you can sit quietly and read in. I only wish I knew back then what I know now when I enrolled. I am relearning almost everything because I wasn't truly prepared upon graduation.
