About
The Minnesota School of Cosmetology offers and in depth cosmetology program in a classroom and professional salon setting. The school offers basic and high end courses to teach individuals the methods and trends necessary to perform successfully as cosmetologists. Once the program is completed, graduates will be qualified to work as professionals in the beauty industry. MSC operates two campuses located in Plymouth and Woodbury, Minnesota.
Admissions and Financial Aid
Individuals interested in enrollment should contact a representative and make an appointment to visit the campus. The representative will assist in the application process. Financial aid is also available. Students will work with the school to examine financial aid options and review costs. All students should complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to begin the process of determining eligibility.

- The students here are very friendly I am pleased with the students service. The instructors on the other hand are very rude. I had one instructor say to me after I suggested something to her about my hair "um did you go to school for this? NO. ok then." with a very smart tone. I wanted to walk out, but I couldn't with bleach still in my hair. The student did everything asked of the instructor and my hair turned purple. I do not blame the student at all but I would recommend to everyone to watch out and be prepared for this kind of negativity.

- Any school will give you an education if you're willing to ask for it. I attended MSC in 2006, have been working in the industry ever since, and I have nothing but great things to say about this school. We all pick and whine about the little things in school and how things can be 'unfair' but after graduating and attending classes through employers I found that MSC was teaching things that other schools were not. I felt like I was prepared enough for my clients right off the bat. I continue to learn every day but I'm glad I chose MSC!
