Academics
Lakes Region Community College offers programs that prepare students for academic transfer or career training for entry into the workforce. Students interested in academic transfer will complete the first two years of a four year education at LRCC, followed by applying for transfer to a four year institution in order to complete a bachelor's degree. Transfer requirements vary by school and students should meet with an academic adviser in order to develop a curriculum that best meets the criterion of the school or schools. Career training programs provide a blend of theoretical and practical education in order to provide students with the skills and abilities necessary to become a professional in one's area of study. Programs take between one and two years to complete and allow for obtaining work in the entry level position upon completion.
Programs offered include:
Admissions and Financial Aid

Students should supply transcripts and tests scores and may be required to take a placement exam prior to registration. Participation in orientation and meeting with a counselor are encouraged.
Financial aid is available in the form of loans, grants and scholarships.
