Continental Beauty Schools operates six locations across upstate New York, making it the largest chain if beauty schools in New York State. The six schools are located in Rochester, West Seneca, Olean, Buffalo, Batavia and Syracuse. The school is licensed by the NYS Department of Education and accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts & Sciences (NACCAS).
Academics
Continental Beauty Schools provides short term quality education for careers in the beauty industry. Programs offered prepare students to enter the workforce with the skills necessary to obtain a license and operate as a professional.

- Being a past student and being in the industry for 6 years now . I love what I do. After this year I plan on being a cosmetology teacher. However do not plan on working for this company. Recently after i did a refresher course of continuing education. i was promised a job by one of the school directors, and to my dismay she hired a student that just graduated with no internship, no office experience to say the least, this student has a great office and gets the ideal schedule mon-fri that i among others should of got that have done there time and would want to work in a cosmetology school whether in a office or behind the main desk . i think its wrong and unfair to have or even allow students to work at any of the schools. with out first doing the standard 2 year min for office or front desk even if that means working at a salon answering phones and gaining that experience. in the past when i would visit one of my teachers, there was this one time i had to help the front desk transfer a phone call because she didn't know how, I couldn't believe it. And she was a recent grad of the school. I just couldn't understand why a director would want to hire students rather than someone who has 5 years of office exp and 6 years of salon exp like me. The teachers are great. The teachers i had have shaped my life to be the best stylist i am today and that could of not been possible with out them. so if your looking for top notch education choose Continental, they also have the highest skateboard pass rate than any other school.
