Each year, thousands of people in our communities take BOCES courses to enrich their careers and their lives. Many are embarking on new careers or improving job skills, others are improving their English or preparing for their GED exam. All of our students have a common goal; a brighter future for
themselves and their families.
 
We're responding to the changing job market by offering courses in demand areas like Practical Nursing, Medical Assistant, Certified Nurse Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, PV Technology, and Air Conditioning and Refrigeration. We're expanding our ESOL and GED offerings to meet the growing
need.

    The mission of the Practical Nursing Program is to serve the community by preparing nurses who are dedicated to providing culturally competent care through systematic application of the nursing process in a caring, ethical and holistic manner. The faculty and support staff of the Practical Nursing Program strives to promote a sense of professional responsibility as members of the nursing community and seek to develop in our students a commitment to life long learning and professional growth.
