  • Professional Business College provides to all students an opportunity to obtain a quality career education in office and business skills as well as providing an awareness of self-worth. The faculty and staff are committed to students who are seeking an educational experience that encourages a high degree of competence and professionalism in business and office technologies. PBC's career education is designed to help various ethnic groups to enter the job market successfully within a short period of time.
    The primary educational mission at PBC is to create a learning environment that encourages the individual student to achieve his/her career goals. The faculty and staff have accepted the responsibility of offering an education that will enable each student to reach his/her potential in both intellectual development and business career skills. The mission is accomplished by (1) small classes, (2) an effective classroom experience, (3) individual student advisement, (including job placement) and (4) remediation and ESL classes. In addition to teaching specific skills, the academic programs at PBC are intended to develop open-mindedness and a willingness to learn, so that our students will become effective and efficient members of their chosen professions and productive citizens of the community.
    PBC faculty and staff subscribe to the following statement of the mission of the college:
    -To provide educational and employment opportunities throught concentrated, highly structured programs of study that prepare students for entry-level positions.
    -To provide curricula that reflect the needs of a changing job market.
