- A private, co-educational, nonsectarian academic institution, South College-Asheville offers varied and well-balanced programs at the bachelor's, associate and certificate levels.
The mission of the college is to identify and facilitate quality programs of study that bring students together in an academic setting which encourages the development of educated, responsible professionals who meet the demands of our employment market.
To achieve this mission, South College-Asheville offers general education and specialized courses designed to broaden students' overall knowledge and develop strong technical skills as identified by community leaders. The college recognizes the uniqueness of students and works to meet their needs on an individual basis. Therefore, the college maintains various support services to enhance students' academic experiences.
