About

Chatfield College, Located in St. Martin and Cincinnati, Ohio, was founded in 1971 when it opened its doors to the public. The history of the school itself is much older, dating to 1845, when Ursuline Sisters of the Catholic faith came from France to Ohio and established a convent. From this convent they immediately began to construct a school which served the community until it was formalized and renamed in 1971. The school is a two year institution that maintains the high standards of education dating over 150 years.

 

Academics

Chatfield College provides students with a 2 year liberal arts education with a concentration on one of four fields. Students will take general education courses alongside core courses for their concentration, with the possibility of overlap in regards to some courses. Graduates of the program will receive an associate degree as well as a liberal arts background that focuses on developing a variety of useful skills for further study and the workplace.

Admissions and Financial Aid

Students interested in enrolling at Chatfield College should contact the school and make an appointment to visit. Once a student feels ready, he or she may apply online through the school's website. The school aims to keep class sizes and student teacher ratios low, so it is important apply in a timely manner. Students will need to provide high school transcripts or GED scores and must take a placement exam prior to registration. Financial aid is available in the form of grants, loans and scholarships at the state and federal level. Student should contact the financial aid office for assistance in beginning the financial aid application process to determine eligibility and awards.
