- My review of Phagans Grants Pass, Or. I am a 39 year licensed Cosmetologist. I have visited Phagans a few times. Each time was worse than the last. I am ashamed to say, the school needs help bad. The student are not taught professional behavior at all. If they are not blessed w/ proper protacal they will never achieve it. I made an appt. for a facial. They called for the student..she walked out, chewing the last of her lunch in a outfit I would never go to work in...she excused her chewing..I followed to the facial room. There were pillows that looked as if someone had drooled on them..the sanitation was exempt. I promptly said I had changed my mind. I walked to the restroom observing on the way around the school. You must know, this school needs attention. It is far from teaching professional behavior. I have heard from some students..the color knowledge is extremely lacking also. I understand there are students that want to learn. They are paying 10-12,000.00 for this knowledge..I paid $ 450.00 and obtained much much more. Please if you are going to send these students in the world, teach them to be professionals. They have a chance at making a wonderful salary. Also, I think it would be a fantastic opportunity if a investment class was also offered if students choose to partake.
