- Welder Training and Testing Institute, a private Corp. and co-educational institution of higher learning, trains men and women for challenging and rewarding careers in welding. WTTI recognizes the fact that every student is an individual with different learning ability and potential. Every effort is made to individualize the training and maximize the skill potential of each student. Every member of the WTTI staff is committed to insuring the success of each student. The courses at the school are designed to prepare the student for employment opportunities within the career field. All the courses given at the school are selected and scheduled to contribute to that objective. Surveys of the industries which employ our graduates are conducted to determine what changes or modifications should be made in our training programs. Policies of the school are determined to a large extent by the requirements of employers who hire our graduates and our graduates themselves. These policies are administered within the framework of the regulations of the various governmental agencies which regulate the school.

- Hello. For anyone thinking about attending WTTI I suppose its like any other school having its ups and downs. On the up side the school consists of a lot of hands on learning and the school is very flexible with working out a schedule for you. On the downside the school just came up with a new set of rules and guidelines. Now with these guidelines I didn't have a problem following them what so ever but, I will tell you I couldn't stop laughing when I had to read and sign them. Basically if you want to be treated like a second grader then this school is for you. Having said that in the schools defense I actually did have a couple classmates that needed this new rule enforcement. I think instead of some of the new rules maybe they should have gotten rid of some of the problem students. WTTI does have some instructors and you can learn a lot from them but at the current time they are so understaffed that you spend most of the day trying to get their attention... One of the best things about WTTI was the secretary. She handled everything for me and went above and beyond her job title. Overall WTTi has a lot of information and some very talented instructors you can really learn a lot about welding if your are really there to learn and can handle being treated like an 8 year old. Would I do WTTI all over again probably only because of being so close to home.
