Flag Review - Rating:
- I'm currently attending Career Point and I can honestly say that I look forward to going to school. The instructors have been awesome we really do learn a lot. I have read that some people can not find jobs I don't think its Career Point's fault sometimes there are just not any jobs in certain fields that's why everyone should do research on jobs that are in demand don't go for something that is easy. I'm currently in the LVN program and I know that I wont have problems finding a jobs since there are always jobs for nurses. For everyone saying that this school is not accredited if it wasn't it wouldn't be in business and I know that this school has been around for a while as far as having student loans everyone that goes to school is going to have some kind of loan to pay back unless you're really lucky, but like someone said education is not free and no matter where you go you will have to pay something. One good thing about this school is that they really do have schedules that will work for everyone and that was something that appealed to me and for people who have to work full time and still want to go to school it really does help.

- Im not gonna sit here and argue with all these comments. Instead im just gonna say that im grateful to career point. I dont know where i would be with out the experience i got there. I can now say proudly that i did something in my life that actually paid off. I can single handedly support my family without having to send my pregnant wife out to work just to pay the bills. I appreciate what this school has done for me.

- I had a great experience here! I have a great job and am making good money. Yes I have student loans, but education is not free. Once I pay them off I will end up with a higher credit score and a new life

- True, there are NO guarantees in life, and what you make of yours is up to you, but that's exactly why the last thing anyone needs in the world we exist in is to be burdened by over $11,000 in student loans. Career Point College is there to groom high school failures for entry level positions in the high-turnover service industries it collaborates with, so any admonishments or favorable reviews you might read were probably posted by its own employees. The career point is, if you need a job, or a better one, LOOK for it!

- I think Career Point is great. They have a bunch of people working in their placement department and I did not have any trouble finding a job when I graduated. For the other poster... what kind of student were you? If you cannot find a job with the skills you have and the connections they have, maybe you should look in the mirror.

- Career Point's instructors are knowledgeable and my dean was extremely helpful. They gave me more than just the skills to be able to perform my job; they also taught me how to sell myself. We have mock interviews, classes on values and learn about ethical decision making in the work place. Not only that their tuition was comparable to similar schools, yet you get so much more out of it.

- I graduated from Career Point in 2007, and have a great job. The Career Point employees have always been there to give me advice and point me in the right direction. From that point it was all up to me. They gave me tips on how to improve my resume, showed me how to find jobs online, and gave me tips on how to search for qualifying jobs in my field. My job was to get the interviews and win them over. And as for the student loan, Career Point has comparable rates when looking at similar schools in the area. I believe it was worth every penny.

- Honestly I am not happy with career point. They promised a lifetime of career help and upon graduation I've never gotten the help. I don't recommend this to anyone and the only thing I'm left stuck with is a loan that I can't pay because of no job. And if I do find a job, its not even what I went here for. My advice to anyone thinking of coming here don't do it. Its not worth the money. I went for legal secretary. The only thing I can say that I got from here was the skills that I've learned. Don't waste ur time or money here and that's the honest truth you'll be left in debt.
