About
Diesel Driving Academy has been training and placing individuals in the truck driving industry since 1972. The school operates locations in Louisiana (Shreveport and Baton Rouge) and Arkansas (Little Rock).
The school teaches all the skills necessary to work as a truck driver and has relationships with several trucking firms in order to assist in the post-completion hiring process. Graduates will receive a commercial driver's license (CDL).
Admissions and Financial Aid
Potential students must have a current driver's license, beat least 21 years of age, have a clean driving record, pass a department of transportation drug test and physical, and meet federal motor carrier safety regulations (parts 383 and 391).
Financial aid is available to qualifying students. Individuals should meet with a financial aid counselor to discuss options and assist in the application process.
