- This is the best priced program in Tulsa for surgical tech. There are somethings to think about before going with this program though this campus also has high school students in other programs so some of their rules are a little ridiculous for adult students including having to check out if you leave class early and getting a tardy slip if you are late. They also document your attendance and most of the class is at your own pace so if you have nothing to do you can either sit there and stare at your computer or you can go home and take the hit in attendance. They have some ok instructors and the director of the program is willing to go out of her way to help you in any way she can. I do feel I learned more from reading my text than the instructors lectures which are jut power points they read directly off of with no further input. Overall it's not a bad school but I would not attend again just because of the silly rules.
