Star Career Academy, with locations in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania, offers career training designed to meet the needs of the community. The school uses simulated work environments run by industry professionals to offer performance based education. The school also utilizes required internships to introduce students to real work environments. Star Career Academy believes in preparing students for their future occupations, building their confidence, and instilling in them accepted professional and ethical standards.

- I am not happy with the school in Northeast Philadelphia. I attended the Surgical Technology Class for 8 months. I came everyday to class, came on time and was a very good student in the classroom and clinical areas. We only practiced a total of 9 Surgery procedures the whole entire time. We practiced on this beat up crash dummy and the grading system was the worst ever. It's just funny how they tell you all the good things to get you in there to sign your name on those LOAN papers but they will never aggressively assist you with the process of you finding a job. Many of the extern sites actually use you to get free work done. As if your an additional employee. The certification test is a joke because everything you learned isn't even on the test. Also if you Fail the test get ready to cough up $155. I only recommend this place if it's your last resort otherwise stay away.

- I am so disappointed in this school (Star Academy in clifton,NJ). It's been over a month and still no externship site (dialysis class). Students have been waiting over a month, they lied from the start Never even saying that extern would be far, Extern coordinators don't even answer the calls and they lie. Also is so disgusting how star tech has a commercial persuading everyone saying how great they're school is; (what a joke). Nothing but unprofessional, unorganized people working there, And we have to pay $12,000 to $15,000 for this school!!, it's worth nothing for all the stress they have given everyone. This is not fair, it's not right. Star Academy Schools should be shut down!, So please Save Your Money & Your time, for all the stress just Save Your Life & DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL.
