  • All I Have to say is that this school is great. Everyone that works there is VERY helpful! I'm glad I chose Everest to further my education. Go there for yourself to see.

  • Excellent School! I earned my degree for Medical Transcription. I was so impressed with this school, the teachers truly care and make you feel as if you are their only student. If I had to wanted to change fields I would come back to that school in a heartbeat but I worked so hard to get the degree I have now. I am finally able to start a medical transcription business it's been so long since I graduated from the program, I was offered many jobs I worked for a wonderful woman from home since at the time it was ideal having a toddler at home. Unfortunately, my husband has passed away so now is the time for me to come back to the field I worked so hard for and to hopefully start my own business. I don't know if they still offer that you can go back to the school anytime after you graduate to brush up on any subject (sit in on classes). I can't say enough great things about this school. If I wanted to change my career path (which is highly unlikely) I would come back to this school. I pray it does because I enjoyed it very much and love typing! Anatomy, terminology, and then the class to prepare you for the program itself before becoming hands on. Having all the anatomy and medical terminology classes behind me I jumped into Medical Transcription. When you do get out there and start working you will be more than prepared and feel so confident when you get your first job. I was so impressed with the guaranteed job placement after graduation, they sent me on numerous job interviews and I did get every single job offer, I thought I wanted to work out of the home but with my toddler I decided to work at home. I had to stop working as a transcriptionist but now want to get back into it and start a business. I pray this works out for me. A word of advice, please keep all the teachers names get their phone numbers, email etc... if down the road like myself now almost 10 years later I really could use a lot of advice from all of these teachers and another thing is I KNOW they would remember me. Every single teacher of all of the subjects I had to take were not only caring people, they rooted for you. Their teaching skills were EXCELLENT! This school gives you a boost of confidence to work your hardest, do your best and the teachers truly wanted the best for each and every student. Besides the school giving me one of the greatest opportunies of my life I am so glad that I am the first person here to write a review! For those of you who are already enrolled in any program I have one word of advice which is to keep all of your books, notes, equipment of course, (I almost threw out my transcription machine because most Doctors use newer technology no more tapes as my machine took, well I found out there are Doctors who don't like change and are still using those little tapes for dictating) so I have one major advantage there for keeping everything. I also had to look back at the actual transcriptions I typed at the school and the job I took, I saved all of them which is helping me, to review all of it since it's been so long. No matter what field you have chosen keep whatever they give you, you also worked hard for it, trust me I know. Also if you have no one you know who went to the school I hope this review helps. There were sites online at the time I joined so there weren't any reviews to read like I am writing from the heart. I knew no one when I signed up and if you have any questions I would be more than happy to offer any advice I can give to you. I wish you all the best if you are thinking about going, just started, in the middle, or graduating this degree you have or will earn will bring many wonderful career opportunities. Your resume will impress the company you are seeking employment. So if you are researching schools and this school has the field you are interested in, through my wonderful experience here and have heard over the years this is still the school you want!
