- I went from being unemployed to having a great job. I checked a lot of schools out and this school had the best program. The people there are very helpful. I was in the garden city campus.

- I graduated from Career Institute in October 2012 in Electrical Technology. The hands on skills that I received were great especially in the residential and commercial wiring classes. Mr. Diglio and Mr. Hawes are great teachers. The Security and Fire Alarm classes very excellent. I got a job as an electrical helper 3 months after I completed the program.

- WARNING! DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL! I'm a former student from career institute and I wouldn't even recommend this school to my worst enemy. I started school at the Garden city location and at first I liked it. I maintained a 4.0 average for a little while and a few of my teachers recommended that I try a couple colleges that offer free LPN program for students with good grades and high averages. I went to the open house at one of the other schools and found out that because I was already enrolled in another school, I would have to wait two years for the free LPN at the college in Queens. That wasn't the worst part. I thought I would get the M.A experience and transfer over whatever certificate I got from Career Institute. WRONG! The certification is not even worth anything in other schools. So regardless of receiving a "certification" or not I would still have to pay student loans. I decided to continue. I took all of the classes and passed them but now the problem was finding a place to intern because I moved to Brooklyn but started in L.I. They told me I couldn't intern anywhere 3 hours Or more in travel from my original starting address. So I never got to intern or take the nationals because you have to intern first. Overall some of the teachers there were very sweet and the rest would make you raise an eyebrow. But all in all who would pay thousands of dollars for a tech school that's certificate stands for nearly nothing and has very little to no contracts? You can go to a real school (college) and get a degree which you may not even have to pay for? It's just not worth it. If I could give a lower rating I would.

- The school helps me reach my goals; after I finish the program I was able to get a good job in the city. The teachers and stuff are very helpful I will recommend the school to friends and family. I was able to go back few times to practice when I need it.

- This is the best school you can go to; I am a former student of Career Institute of Health and Technology. The school is for mature people, if you are ready to invest in your future this is the place to be, their hands on programs will increase you skills to the max, and their staff will help you achieve your goals. The school has been the best investment of time and money in my life, today without a college degree the school help me to find a 6 figures position in an investment bank in the city.
