Micro Tech Training Center is committed to the educational and professional enrichment of each studnent. The curriculum and environment provide an atmosphere in which student can develop, excel and form a positive self-image. The school takes pride in enhancing basic science, clinical, leadership, management and technical skills in addition to preparing students for the workplace. MicroTech Training Center aims to train individuals to obtain and maintain employment in the field of medical an information technology. Practical and marketable skills of the students are developed through classroom theory and hands-on instruction. Professionalism and strong ethical work habits are developed throughout the training with examples from faculty and staff.

The faculty is committed to providing and nurturing a caring environment that develops basic and critical thinking abilities, interpersonal skills and workplace competencies with the ultimate goal of improving the student's quality of life.

  • I finished my RN last December, took the NCLEX last March and passed, take one. I now work as an RN in a hospital where I did my clinical.

    I have attended another college prior to EIC and my experience at EIC is by far 200% better than the community college I previously attended.

    The classes are tough but I learned because class sizes were small so I had more interaction with my teachers.

  • Listen to all reviews!!! This is by far the WORST school ever!!! Owners just want your money!! You are told they are accredited but if you decide to transfer out you CAN'T because no other schools can take their credits. This is money down the drain,poorly equipped. How are you going to be in a lab and first of all not have enough students to practice on, and not have correct equipment or functional and up to date. EKG class all the electrodes but one pack expired and didn't stick to the "patient" phlebotomy class not enough tubes..microbiology the microscopes don't function or nothing to actually use under microscope...and after you finish the whole program when you bust yourself getting good grades and studying and trying your best they tell you, you don't get a Graduation Ceremony!!! What kind of school do not give their students a graduation ceremony after they worked hard for it,basically just getting the $$$....Stay Away!!!

  • DO your homework before you attend Eastern International College if you are going for ultrasound!!! Be sure to ask LOTS of questions when you go to visit. Make sure you ask about ARDMS because graduating from a school without ARDMS is a waste of money. Eastern International College will take your money and then when you go to get a job and find out nobody will hire you because you don't have ARDMS, they will leave you stuck out and won't help you. In my opinion there are better options out there. Don't waste your time here.

  • DO NOT BELIEVE ANY ULTRASOUND SCHOOL THAT PROMISES JOB PLACEMENT. I BEEN AN ULTRASOUND TECH FOR 25 YEARS AND I KNOW ALL ABOUT THE EDUCATION PROCESS. FIRST OFF, THE BEST SCHOOLS ARE "REAL" COLLEGES LIKE BERGEN WHO HAVE THE BEST PROGRAM IN THE STATES. AFTER THAT YOU HAVE ALL YOUR OTHER PROGRAMS WHO ARE OWNED BY BUSINESS MEN WHO JUST WANT TO MAKE A BUCK. THESE OWNERS NO NOTHING OF THE MEDICAL FIELD AND HIRE INSTRUCTORS FOR AS CHEAP AS POSSIBLE. EASTERN IS THE WORSE BY FAR IN THIS GROUP OF SCHOOLS. IF U R SERIOUS ABOUT U/S I RECOMMEND MULINBERG, HO HO KUS, AND AIMES. SANFORD BROWN IS OKAY BUT THEY TRY TO PUSH THEIR CLASSES.   • Don't even consider this school...I've been to a few schools in the past few years and this is the worse school I have come to. They are very unorganized and misleading. They do not care about their students enough to help their students get prepared and help to finish. I'm fed up and am looking to transfer out every semester is something new they come up with to keep me and keep taking my money for at the end of it all I just receive a paper and not even a graduation or ceremony where I can celebrate my accomplishments. bS school...I start in one school and they try to send me to another campus because its their benefit and not the students

  • Do not attend this school I think this school is not credited for CAHAP that means you graduate US program but you cannot sit for license test (ARDMS) test until you have one year full time (40 HR per week) paid experience in ultrasound and without ARDMS nobody wants to give you a job with 4.0 GPA and Passed SPI test with high score. job replacement staff is not professional and they do not help to find the job. before you attend this school research and talked to former student or find who willing to hire without ARDMS unless you have almost $40,000 laying around.there other school which is CAHAP credited and you can give the test as soon as finish the school.

  • I am writing these few words to try to verbalize my experience at Eastern International College, formerly MicroTech, which is what the school was called when I attended. I am very grateful to the administrative staff and faculty for making a hard, fast-paced course fun and exciting. I must say the teachers were impeccable; they were knowledgeable in their craft and gracious enough to share it with us. They were friendly and approachable, if a thousand of questions were asked a thousand and one answers were given. The administrative staff was always available to speak to you from the financial department, to the job placement to anyone. Everyone had a smile on their face from the receptionist all the way to the head of the school. I would like to thank every single person in the Jersey City Campus that helped me enter into the medical field and fueled my desire in continuing school, reason being I am inquiring about the RN program.

  • I agree with the below comment. They are extremely misleading!! Just avoid this school. They are very unprofessional from the point of meeting with a councilor to the point of the interview. I had gotten to that point.They mixed up my score with someone else lower than mine. The interviewers had no personality at all. The head of the nursing department is very hard to get in touch with. I was asked a question as follows: "what would I do if I heard of another student bad mouthing another department in the school regarding issues"? How does that relate to my acceptance to the nursing program.I was extremely mislead by admissions. This interview popped up out of the blue. They are not direct as to what steps will follow after you take the Hesi exam. I am very grateful that I did not get into this school. I was told they have "high standards". I don't see how a school whose program is on probation can have too high of "standards" to accept someone who had 15 points above what they required, all the prerequisites, and a bachelors degree. I would have been a great candidate representing this school because I already work in the hospital. Anyhow, check out Eastwick College and you will notice the difference. I attend this school now and I love it. It is the best choice.

  • I have been extremely misled by the school with regards to their placement of students in externships. After months of constant communications with them trying to get an externship, which I was told would not be too difficult given my 3.95GPA, I was finally told that the only externship site they could find was 30 miles away, even though I had been told many times before that the site would be close to my home and the school in NJ, or in Manhattan or Brooklyn. The drive to/from the site was over 4 hours and the tolls and gas cost me ~$30 (it would have taken me over 3 hours each way with public transportation) but I accepted the externship because I have been unable to even obtain a job as I keep waiting to finish my studies and the school keeps claiming that there are no other sites available. However, I was told during my first day that the next day I would have to go to a site 65 miles away (~3 hour drive each way across state lines) and that on my third day I would have to go to a site 130 miles away (~4 hour drive each way, also across state lines). More importantly, the duties I was given during my first day barely relate to my studies and I am now sure that if I continue my externship in this manner then I will not obtain the hand-on practice I need to get a job in my field.

    The school leads students to believe that upon successful completion of classes they will be placed in suitable externships but the staff has been completely unhelpful, all of my communications with them have been negative and my requests have been pretty much brushed off. I have asked them for other sites as I cannot drive 4-8 hours/day and spend ~$30 in tolls and gas/day just to get to the sites but they refuse to keep searching for me and are now telling me to go to those far away sites or sign a waiver stating I refuse to go to the sites they found for me. After all of the hard work I put into my studies I am now at a loss and feel that the school has left me with no real options to finish my studies.
