About

Somerset Christian College, located in Zarephath, New Jersey, was founded in 2001 by Pillar of Fire International, a Christian organization. The school occupies buildings previously occupied by the Zarephath Bible Institute (1908) and Alma White College (1923) which were also founded and operated by the Pillar of Light. Somerset Christian College operates the school in the Wesleyan-Arminian tradition. The school believes in a solid education with a foundation of faith. SCC is the only accredited evangelical college in the state of New Jersey.

Academics

Somerset Christian College is accredited to award associate degrees and bachelor's degrees. The program offerings are small in number but are designed to offer a top quality education while maintaining a faith oriented environment. Though the school belongs to a specific denomination, it does not discriminate between denominations, and prepares individuals to serve their church.
