Amridge University is a coeducational, independent school with roots in Christian values and spiritual vitality.  Amridge University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and has been offering distance education for over twenty years.

In fact, Amridge University was one of the first 15 colleges in the United States selected by the U.S. Department of Education to pilot online learning to provide the reach and scale necessary to reach a broad student population.

Amridge University offers a range of academic tracks clustered in five schools: College of General Studies, College of Business and Leadership, School of Human Services, Turner School of Theology, and the School of Continuing Education.  Each of the aforementioned schools within Amridge University has a unique purpose with a specific, supporting curricular design for each track.

Amridge has built a robust international outreach program that includes ministry support in over 40 countries worldwide.  That being said, the diverse mix of students come from all reaches of the globe with over 60% having no specific church affiliation.

The Amridge admissions team works closely with students to ensure a smooth on-boarding process.  Whether you are a high school student going to college for the first time, a student transitioning from another institution, or a returning student the admission team has established criteria to help you.  The basics of the transferring and admissions process include:

  • Meeting the minimum requirements of computer fluency
  • Providing your official transcripts for degree and post-degree classes
  • Meeting the minimum GPA requirement for your program of study
  • Paying your non-refundable application fee
