East Arkansas Community College is a two year community college that offers quality education, cultural enrichment and economic stimulation to the residents of East Arkansas, surrounding communities and internationally as well.

The East Arkansas Community College, also known as EACC, has its location in Forrest City, Arkansas and caters to its students by providing them with a number of degree choices in the areas of Business and Technology, Allied Health Science, Humanities, Mathematics/Science and Social Science.

Base on the Arkansas Act 98 of 1989, EACC offers transfer programs to their students who wish to further their career and receive a baccalaureate after they have completed their two years of community college. Credits earned through the transferable degree programs can be transferred to any four year university within the state. These transferable degree programs include the Associate of Arts degree (AA) that can be transferred to all universities in the state and select universities within the country.

EACC is an institution that facilitates a diverse population and they tailor their courses to suit the wider community in which they serve. At East Arkansas Community College, there are programs that have been designed to cater to the older population as well. This program of study is known as the Continuing Education and Workforce Development program. This program is one that facilitates the educational needs of working individuals or those individuals who cannot register into their program of choice as a fully matriculated student.
