DRMC School of Health Professions fosters a welcoming and innovative learning environment by providing excellent health care education in a variety of settings. It is situated in Danville at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Piedmont region of Virginia. History abounds the city and outdoor recreation can be enjoyed all year round. Its faculty can provide mentorship to instill accountability, responsibility, professionalism in students.

It offers two programs- the diploma Nursing Program and the certificate Radiologic Technology Program.

DRMC partners with Averett University and Danville Community College to expand and enrich the nursing programs. It has a partnership agreement with Averett University for the transition of its Registered Nurse program to a Bachelor of Science degree.

The Associate of Applied Sciences Degree in Radiography has just been approved for Danville Community College.  The two institutions, Danville Community College and Danville Regional Medical Center, have been working together to meet the increased demand for Radiologic Technologists. It is a full-time, 2-year certificate and hospital based program.

The education and clinical experience in this institution is your step forward to advanced educational opportunities. And most of the graduates join the Danville Regional Medical Center’s motivated and progressive staff.

Among the student services are financial aid, guidance and counseling, meals, child care facilities for parent-students, and employment assistance.
