What is a Manufacturing Engineering Technician?

Manufacturing Engineering Technician is a field of study in business focused on the manufacturing field.  From manufacture planning to operations management to quality control, a Manufacturing Engineering Technician will be equipped to navigate the constantly changing landscape of today’s manufacturing sector.  A Manufacturing Engineer will receive extensive computer applications training (including computer aided design (CAD), computer aided manufacturing (CAM), and computer aided drawing) along with social sciences and mathematics.  A Manufacturing Engineering Technician will have the academic know-how and hands-on experience to specialize in one or more of the following areas: engineering CAD, automated machinery systems, electronics, fluid power, plastic technology, machine technology, or welding.
