Mid-East Career and Technology Centers for Adult Education, located in Zanesville, Ohio, is a branch of Mid-East Career and Technology Center. This branch strives to provide adult students with the opportunities needed to complete their high school education and pursue their career goals.
Adults who need help preparing for the GED exam can take advantage of the Mid-East CTC-Adult Education’s ABLE program. These free classes provide an in-depth preparatory process that ensures adult students will be ready to earn their GED. If preparation is not needed, those who are ready to take the exam may also do so at the Mid-East CTC for adult education campus.
Also offered at the Mid-East CTC are many various career certificate programs that cater to a full-time student schedule. These career certificate programs include: administrative assistant, commercial and residential electrician, HVAC, heavy equipment operator, paramedic training, power lineman, practical nursing, welding, industrial skill training, fire classes, public safety classes, and many more.
Mid-East CTC also offers industry training for those employers who may have a need for additional training for their employees. Training programs include classes for business, construction, and industrial training. Classes can even be customized to include only what a specific company needs. Classes are delivered to the work site by certified instructors from Mid-East CTC.
