Blue Hills Regional Technical School is located on a beautiful 35 acre campus. The school offers an outstanding view of Big Blue Hill. The surrounding areas of Canton, Massachusetts offer many opportunities. Students have access to Boston’s industrial district and all of its opportunities.

The institute provides a comprehensive academic program that operates on an alternating week schedule. Individuals have five days of academic instruction and then five days of vocational training throughout the year.

Vocational programs provide students with the tools needed for a successful career. The goal is to offer the best education at an affordable price. The goal is for graduates to be well-rounded individuals who have a successful career in their chosen field.

Technical programs are offered in a variety of trades. Programs include Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning, Health Assisting, Metal Fabrication, Culinary Arts, Graphic Communications, Engineering Technology, Electronics, and Electrical Technology.

One of the top programs is in Construction Technology. Individuals work on their skills in various areas and learning the latest in technology. Computer-aided drafting is introduced and utilized on projects in the carpentry shop.

One area of the program is the millwork division that teaches students the skills they need for success. Students learn clamping, staining, gluing and wood finishing. They also learn the economics of construction. Students who specialize in carpentry study window installation, roofing, and siding. They also learn framing and trimming and window finishing.
