The Career Technology Center of Lackawanna County (CTCLC) offers an outstanding technical education in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The school offers affordable tuition and financial aid is available for those who qualify. The center focuses on helping students become life-long learners.
The center offers many outstanding adult education programs. Programs are offered in Automotive Care/Repair, cooking, Construction/Building Maintenance, DEP Courses - Waste Water Training, web design, Horticulture, Industrial Machine Technology, welding, and travel.
Another outstanding program offered is the nursing program that last for 52 weeks. Half of the time is in a clinical setting and the other half in the classroom. The hands-on experience is carried out at Community Medical Center, Moses Taylor Hospital and Mountain View Care Center. Students are under the guidance of a professional during every step.
On campus, students can participate in a variety of organizations. Students can take part in the Health Occupations Students of America, Future Farmers of America, Skills USA, and National Technical Honor.
