Crowleys Ridge Technical Institute (CRTI)

Crowley’s Ridge Technical Institute or CRTI sets out to provide a work force that is capable in a range of different areas including business, health services, government, agriculture, and industry.

The school itself is located in Forrest City, Arkansas and was first opened in September 1967.

Crowley’s Ridge Technical Institute provides courses to study including:

  • accounting
  • auto body repair
  • child care
  • computer repair
  • cosmetology
  • appliance service
  • nursing
  • construction

Most courses are only a year long and will provide you with the skills you need to be more successful in the job market. Moreover, CRTI also provides diplomas and GED courses for adults.

Tuition for CRTI costs $540 per semester; however, if you are over 60 years and want to study, you can do so for free. This cost is for the fall and spring semesters. If you want to study during the summer term, it costs $270 per term.

The school has a few on-campus organizations, but does not host any national organizations. It does, however, sponsor some student organizations such as SkillsUSA, the Student Council, the National Technical Honor Society and ALPNA.
