Downey Adult School, located in Downey, California, is a public institution that provides local residents various training and education opportunities. The school also places high emphasis on attendance, with poor attendance leading to being dropped from a class or a lack of credit eligibility.

Academics

Downey Adult School offered a variety of career programs that allow students to enter the workforce as qualified professionals in a high demand field or industry for the purpose of long term employment. Individuals will take courses in their chosen field under the tutelage of professionals with many years of industry experience. Additionally some courses will be given in a practical setting to develop skills and abilities necessary to be able to work in that industry without issue.
