The English Center, located in Miami, Florida, is the full-service adult education division of the Miami-Dade County Public School System. The English Center offers general education classes, career and technical education classes, community education classes, and online classes. They also help foreign nationals prepare to take the U.S. citizenship exam.

The general education programs offered at The English Center are a great way for adult students to get a basic education, prepare for the GED exam, prepare for the citizenship exam, as well as a way for non-English speakers to study English as a second language.

The English Center also offers many different career certificate programs of study. These programs include: accounting, HVAC, architectural drafting, cosmetology, customer assistance technology, early childhood education, multimedia design technology, nail tech, network support services, PC support services, web application development and programming, and many more.

There are also many several general education courses offered online, through The English Center. These online general education courses include: adult basic education courses, general education development courses, and citizenship courses.

The English Center offers several community education courses that are available to be taken by the general public. These community education courses include: computer basics I & II, custom jewelry design, metaphysics, and yoga.
