About
Maricopa Skill Center, located in Phoenix, Arizona, was founded in 1962 to provide skill and vocational training to residents of the region. The school maintains small class sizes and an educational pace controlled by the student. Many of the courses provide hands on training and provide the student with an atmosphere of educational exploration and confidence through the support of the staff and faculty.

Academics
Maricopa Skill Center offers a number of programs that are designed to prepare students for long term employment in typically high demand fields. These programs take less than two years to complete, and result in a certificate that demonstrates competency to potential employers. Individuals having completed a program will have gained the skills and abilities necessary to enter the workforce as qualified professionals.

Admissions and Financial Aid
Any individual wishing to enroll at Maricopa Skill Center may do so through the completion and submission of the application for admission. Students should determine their program of study prior to applying. Individuals should be at least 18 years of age or have parental consent when applying. Financial aid is available in the form of loans, grants and scholarships. Students in need of assistance should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), the information from which will be used to determine the need and aid program eligibility of a student when constructing an aid packet.
