Maysville Community and Technical College, located in Maysville, Kentucky, was formed in 2004 through the merge of Maysville Community College and Rowan Technical College. The school is one of 16 that comprises the Kentucky Community and Technical College System which operates all public two year institutions throughout the state. The school's service area encompasses the counties of Bracken, Fleming, Harrison, Lewis, Mason and Rowan, and provides coverage through its three campuses in Maysville, Rowan and Licking Valley.

Academics
Maysville Community College offers a variety of programs aimed at meeting the needs of residents of its service area. Career training and technical programs provide specialized education in a given area or industry and assists in entry into the workforce as a qualified professional. Such programs take between one and two years to complete, conferring an associate degree or certificate upon completion. Academic transfer programs allow students to complete the first two years of a four year education, followed by transfer to a college or university, particularly public Kentucky institutions, in order to earn a bachelor's degree.

Maysville Community College is an open enrollment institution that allows any individuals interested in enrollment to do so through the completion of the admissions application and payment of all fees. Students should supply transcripts and tests scores, as well as meet with a counselor prior to registration to discuss program enrollment and curriculum. Financial aid is available through loans, grants and scholarships. Students in need of financial aid must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which is used by the school to determine the extent of a student's needs and aid program eligibility.
