Southwest Technology Center (SWTC) is a trade school serving the greater Atlus, OK area. They have a variety of full-time programs available to students as well as short-term and online programs available for those with busier schedules. SWTC’s mission is to serve individuals, businesses and industries through flexible, quality training, thus enhancing the economy and quality of life in their community.

A great feature of SWTC is that they have partnered with Western Oklahoma State University to help students receive college credit for the classes they take at SWTC. After finishing a program at SWTC, students can transfer their credits to Western Oklahoma State University and finish a degree.

The adult education program also offers GED preparation courses and testing. If an adult is seeking admission into a full-time program they are required to take certain aptitude tests prior to admittance. SWTC also has a great ed2go program, featuring online classes for convenience.
