Susquehanna County Career and Technology Center (SCCTC)

The Susquehanna County Career and Technology Center is located on Schoolhouse Road in Dimock, Pennsylvania. The career school allows adult learners to hone their skills in such area as accounting and bookkeeping, auto body repair, automotive technology, building maintenance, carpentry, cosmetology, food management, healthcare technology, security, vehicle repair, and welding. A course is offered in microdermabrasion as well.

Seven schools in the area work with the technology center in enrolling students. One of the popular programs at the school is the LPN nurse training curriculum. The course, which lasts a year, covers 1,765 hours of health care instruction. Meeting full-time, Monday through Friday, the program is open to any student at least 18 years old. Total tuition for the program is $12,500 for the year. Financial assistance is available for eligible candidates.
