Upper Valley Career Center is a learning Center located in Piqua, Ohio that offers quite a number of training programs for both high school students and adults who are looking to get into business. The programs are created in a manner that can help meet current world market demands. This is done by continuously updating the programs offered in order to make them as practical as possible. The students are trained in courses that have not yet been outdated in the modern world of computer technology, and taught how to keep up in a world of rapid change of most systems and organizations. The professionally accredited staff is continuously carrying out market research to make sure that the students are graduating and finding gainful employment opportunities.
Programs offered usually take between two to four years to complete depending on their curriculum. Programs offered include manufacturing engineering technology, practical nursing, STNA, Home health care and voltage technology to mention just a few. Short term sandwich courses are also available such as computer workshops, safety trainings and home health care management trainings. Students can also apply and be awarded some scholarships and grants that aid in tuition fees payments; though the fees paid are relatively reasonable.
