American College Of Healthcare Sciences

The American College of Healthcare Sciences was originally founded in 1978 and is currently based in Portland, Oregon.  The school remains one of the few accredited, online colleges that specialize in holistic health education offering undergraduate and graduate certificates, degree programs, and diploma programs.

The American College of Healthcare Sciences is an online college that is approved by the Oregon Office of Degree Authorization and accredited by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC) which is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) as an accredited body.

Students that attend ACHS choose an area of concentration in one of the four primary categories offered: herbal medicine, holistic medicine, aromatherapy, or dynamic phytotherapy.  The American College of Healthcare Sciences offers five new accredited programs that include a Masters of Science in Holistic Medicine, Masters of Science in Health and Wellness, Masters of Science in Aromatherapy, Masters of Science in Herbal Medicine, and Associate of Applied Science in Health and Wellness.

ACHS offers an array of certificate programs that include: botanical safety, natural products manufacturing, herbal retain management, wellness consulting, holistic nutrition consulting, iridology consulting, homeopathy, nutrition, aromatherapy, herbal medicine, and anatomy & physiology.
