Antioch University is a private, non-profit university system founded in 1852 and is headquartered in Yellow Springs, Ohio.  Antioch University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) with several campuses peppered around the country along with an online division.

The physical locations of AU include campuses in Seattle, Los Angeles, New England, Santa Barbara, AU Midwest. Antioch replaced the conventional letter grading system of A-F with a narrative evaluation grading system which is a nontraditional performance measurement system.

The student services at Antioch University include a robust library, online bookstore, career planning, disability support services, financial aid, and a virtual writing center.  All resources are specifically designed to help aid student learning and access to quality information when it is needed.
