Shiloh University

Shiloh University is an online, accredited Christian university that trains pastors, lay ministries, church leaders, and Bible teachers.  Shiloh University is a small college based in Kalona, Iowa that holds accreditation from the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC).  The DEAC is recognized by both the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and the U.S. Department of Education (DOE).

Shiloh University offers students a number of graduate and undergraduate degree programs that include the following tracks: biblical and pastoral studies, interdisciplinary studies, New Testament studies, theological studies, divinity, and Doctor of Ministry.

In addition to the degree programs, Shiloh University offers certificate programs that include the following: biblical languages, business administration, ministry practice, Christian studies, New Testament backgrounds, biblical languages, and biblical studies.

From an admissions standpoint, Shiloh University has created four different groupings to help you navigate the process more efficiently.  The first clustering is an admissions application by degree.  Degree programs include undergraduate degrees, graduate degrees, and doctoral degree programs.

The next clustering of admissions applications include certificate programs.  A certificate program is stratified by undergraduate and graduate programs for admissions purposes.  Next, SU has admissions applications for personal enrichment.  As the name indicates, the personal enrichment programs are designed to help with personal development and not necessarily for college credits.  The final clustering of admissions applications is for non-degree applicants.

In terms of tuition, the school has matrices detailing the tuition rates by degree program.  The matrix includes tuition rates for personal enrichment programs, undergraduate degrees, graduate programs, and doctoral degrees.  Financial aid may be available for qualifying students based on demonstrable need and qualification.

Additionally, scholarships may be available from the university for qualifying students.  It is important to note that tuition discounts of 50% are available for international students who reside in certain countries.
