Trident University International is an accredited, online university founded in 1998 and is headquartered in Cypress, California. TUI is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). In addition to regional accreditation, Trident has been approved to operate by the Bureau for Private Post-secondary Education (BPPE) and received state authorization, licensure, exemption, or registration to operate across the country.
Trident University International employs nearly 400 full-time and part-time faculty with a student to teacher ratio at approximately 17:1. In addition, fully 100% of TUI’s core faculty hold a doctoral degree and over 80% of all faculty members have earned a doctoral degree.
In a recent survey performed by the school, seventy percent of all students reported that Trident University was the best school for them. Not surprising, an astounding 81% of TUI alumni are currently employed in mid to senior-level positions around the world.

An additional qualifier includes military students and veteran students. Financial aid programs exist for qualified students showing a demonstrable financial need after meeting the schools requirements. Financial aid options exist by degree program and are divided between school awards and private awards. Trident can provide financial aid awards that include federal grants, federal student loans, and PLUS loans. Private programs can include scholarships, grants, and student loans from entities outside the school or government agency.
