They have a very cumbersome and unfair districting laws that decide if you pay in or out of district tuition. Only college I have been to that will literally not let you use their library resources unless you are enrolled THAT semester. Even if what you need to print/do is school related. Just all around nickel and dime you to death. I went here for the welding degree but decided not to go through with it. Facilities for the welding department are great, no issues there. But if you expect the instructors to be of much help past intro class good luck. The way the program itself is structured is bad; lots of intro classes, then it funnels down in quantity of classes. So what ends up happening is that you literally cannot graduate within a two year period because you can't get into this class that is a pre req for this class that is a pre req...see what I'm saying?

I decided to return to school after 15 years. ACC was a perfect choice and has turned out well for me. I do think more and more people should consider going back to school it has definitely helped my self confidence and feeling excited, something I haven't felt in a long time!
